I have alread tried the steps in KB I had to do this to make ActiveSync work in the first place. Any more suggestions? Tuesday, July 3, PM. My Beef This problem driving me bonkers. I've been everywhere and tried tons of different things. It's set up like it should work but the error events keep coming. There is no fancy encryption or anything. It should just be a straight through job from what I can see.
If I do not use SSL the interface shows up where I can select Inbox or Contacts or whatever, but in the content pane that would normally load something it just hangs with the "Loading Please note this is only in Internet Explorer, the el cheapo version that Firefox gets works without encryption.
Note that "exchange-oma" is the version of the "exchange" OWA application that doesn't require SSL so the server can access the user's mailbox for the Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync application.
My question is why is it when the server tries to access these exchange-oma URLs it is getting HTTP errors, which are Bad Request errors relating to improper syntax from what I've read? My Plea Could somebody please give me any insight you have. I'm thinking if I can maybe get the server to use SSL in the connection between Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync and exchange-oma or just get the silly exchange-oma application to play nice without SSL It's set up only to allow the server's IP to access it anyway.
If you can fix this I'll mail you all a box of Twinkies or something! Note: Yes, I've stooped to shallow bribery, I'm drove. Sunday, August 19, PM.
