I just like to play the way I think it is fair. Also, some players use portable shields - I don't like to use them, because I think they are overpowered - they provide more protection than stone towers does. You build a little bit larger number of them, so they would bring you more wood, and so you could build more stone quarries, iron mines, weapons producing workshop, etc But still, I do not build to many of them - I don't use woodcutters for getting more recruits, or something like that.
