If you want to designate only a portion of your hard drive for installation, select "Option 2. Your plugged-in flash drive will appear in Device, as denoted by A. This will ensure that Windows 11 can be installed without TPM. Optional — You can give name to your flash drive through the Volume Label box.

Now go all the way down of the window and click on the Start button. It will take a couple of minutes to create Windows 11 bootable. Then you can learn to clean Install Windows 11 in the next section.

For accessing the menu, you need to press a key on the keyboard. On booting from a bootable Windows 11 media, you will see the welcome screen. Select your preferred language, time and currency format followed in your region, and keyboard input method. Click on the Next button to continue onto the next page.

Now, the Install Now button will appear on the screen. Click on the button to proceed to the next step. If you have the Windows 11 key , enter it as denoted by A. Then click on the Next button to proceed. For personal usage, you can go ahead with the Windows 11 Home. On the next page, we will create a new partition for Windows 11 installation.

You can skip to the next step if there is a partition already on your hard disk. Windows 11 has been installed now. Time to set a few things before using the OS. Select your Country and click on the Yes button to proceed. Then, select the keyboard or input layout for your Windows 11 usage. It will prompt for a secondary layout, which you can skip for now. After a brief moment of setting up, Windows will ask your name for creating a user account.

However, some users may wish to skip a step and download the Windows 10 ISO file directly to their chosen device without taking the intermediary step involving the Media Creation Tool. There is a way to do this, but it requires a bit of trickery and deception. Obviously, the first step in this process is to navigate to the Microsoft Windows 10 download page.

As you can see in Figure A , this page allows you to update your installed version of Windows 10 or to download the Media Creation Tool, which will allow you to then create a Windows 10 ISO file. To get access to a button that will allow us to download a Windows 10 ISO file directly, we must deceive the webpage just a little. The procedure is not complicated, but it is unusual and involves several context menus.

In our example, we are using Microsoft Edge, but the process is similar for all common web browsers. Right-click anywhere on the Microsoft Windows 10 download page and select Inspect from the context menu. This will open the Developer Tools flyout console as shown in Figure B. The screen is somewhat intimidating, but we can ignore most of it. In the farthest right corner of the Developer Tools menu is an ellipsis extending the menu choices. Click the ellipsis and then select "More tools" from that context menu to reveal a whole host of more tools, as shown in Figure C.

From that list of more tools, we want to select "Network conditions," which will reveal a much quieter page of settings, as shown in Figure D.
